Sue Robertson
Sue Robertson is our Lion's Lair 2.0 "Point Person," which basically means she's the "Go-To" gal. In a nutshell, she oversees the entire project by coordinating, delegating, and communicating with others. She brings a lot of experience and passion to the table as she was also a huge part of the original Lion's Lair build in 1994 (many of you may have worked beside her on it as well)! Sue was so inspired by the positive impact the first project had on the children and community, that she just "couldn't stay away" from "2.0!"
With her strong belief that "Children are the driving force behind this cause, and therefore need to be involved in every aspect of this project", it only makes sense that Sue also heads the Lion's Lair School/Children's Sub committee. "I love working with children." This is evident in her "real job" as a Kindergarten teacher at Lockwood School, where she has taught for over forty years!!! When she's not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
Her three grandchildren, all whom live in Billings, keep her busy and young!
"Suzie-Q," as her dad affectionately called her while growing up on the farm, has a heart of gold and a vision to see this project through to completion. She faces challenges head on with persistence and calmness, which is what makes her such an exceptional leader for this project. Thank You, Sue, for all you do!!!
